Important Notice For Sellers

If you register as a seller on Retail Flag, you must follow certain steps before you start selling:

  • In order to get paid, you must provide a bank account from a bank in Pakistan.
  • Providing bank accounts and details, which are not yours, may lead to a criminal proceeding against the seller.
  • You must clearly state the country where you are shipping from so that the buyer decides based on the information provided.
  • You must list your products in the currency in which your bank account is set up.
  • You are responsible for meeting the shipping deadlines.
  • You must understand all our policies and local laws in order to sell on Retail Flag.

Before you sell on Retail Flag, you must ensure the following:

  • You are permitted to sell
  • You deliver the product as specified by the shipping policy of Retail Flag in a timely manner to avoid any customer surprises.
  • You are able to provide smooth and hassle-free customer services pre/post sale.
  • You must ensure that you hand over the package to Retail Flag’s staff, or a third party shipping services provider in a timely manner. This is your responsibility as a seller to make sure that you or your staff is available during the working hours on the day of collection by logistics company. Failure to meet this requirement, will increase your Delayed Shipment score, which may lead to account suspension by Retail Flag.
  • Working hours are normally considered starting from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday during normal working week.
  • You must assign a professional to provide customer services to your customers. Customers expect to receive prompt response and you must assign a person who understands your products in depth so that he can answer the customer queries properly.
  • Hiring the best staff for your business is your responsibility. You need to ensure that proper check and balances are in place to avoid Customer Services, Product Quality and Authenticity, and other issues pertaining to Retail Flag and its customers.   • You must comply with the local laws of your country while selling the products. This will help you avoid legal penalties and actions. It is your responsibility to make sure that you are legally allowed to sell the products you are listing and there is no violation of any law or regulation if you sell and deliver the product to the buyers.
  • You are responsible for custom clearance, import/export process and any other procedural formality related to the delivery of your product to the buyer, or you may take buyer’s consent upfront by providing this information in your shipping, listing, and other details. There shall be no hidden fee or charges and once the customer purchases a product, it should be delivered within the same price and shipping timeline as specified on your listing. Moreover, the product should be exactly the same as listed on the page.
  • You must also ensure that selling your product will not violate any Intellectual Property rights of any person or entity.

Retail Flag follows international standards of business; therefore, the language of application is in English. However, we may provide assistance in other languages in future for our mutual customer’s convenience.

Your listing must include all applicable charges and taxes (Sales Tax, Customs Duty, Excise Taxes, etc. as applicable).

You are responsible to ensure that you calculate and pay the tax to the relevant authorities in your country of registration. You are also responsible to evaluate and calculate any additional taxes that apply for the delivery of your products in the relevant country.

You must at all times ensure that you comply with the rules and regulations of your seller agreement.

List of accepted countries

Apart from sanctioned countries, a seller can register from anywhere in the world. However, they must have legally registered business (for business accounts only), and the specific country bank account, where they want to carry out the business activity.

Trademark Usage Guidelines

You can use Retail Flag logo and trademark as per the following guidelines:

You can use Retail Flag logo to market your products and listings. You can use the logo on your own website in case the link leads to www.Retail Flag.com. You can use our logo anywhere as long as the link leads the customer to Retail Flag website. Apart from such usage, all other usage of our brand and trademark is prohibited.
